#WalkforMBV Best Day Ever

Our 2021 Virtual/Hybrid Walk was June 13, it was a huge success.

2021 was an amazing year for us. We hit our goal closing over $50,000. I feel blessed. It's not just because of monetary support. (Believe me we survived since Jan on these funds). It's the beautiful sense of community I feel when surrounded by our MBV Family serving and celebrating like today. I feel peaceful Joy! ... Read More

Janet Hecken, our "My Brother Vinny Bin Lady," has dedicated so much of her time to tirelessly create our MBV Veteran Starter Kits filled with housewares and homegoods. She has literally made her home into a Veteran bin prepping center to ensure our Veterans have the essentials. These "starter kits" are prepared with so much love in various color palette choices to provide our Veterans with an extra special personal touch.

Through Janet's amazing generosity which began in 2015, along with our Donor Angels helping to supply support in purchasing of items for the bins throughout the year. She has lovingly created 1340 bins as of November 1, 2019.

Veteran Assistance

Over 1540 U.S. Veterans supported!
All of the U.S. Veterans that we assist come from many different branches of military service and with varied degrees of disabilities and hardships.

Through community support we collect and provide furniture (beds, dressers, kitchen tables, chairs, sofa) household items, kitchen utensils, linens, dish sets, toiletries, etc.

Although homeless, they are left with a deep sense of pride and welcome our support and services because we do not offer a handout, we offer our hand in friendship and support. We provide the items needed to start over.

We try to accommodate the best we can as a 100% volunteer organization.Click Here
